Animation from a single frame
Image to Video keeps the look of your frame and adds the motion you describe. It also continues existing clips on Wan 2.7.
Image-to-video on trendshiftlabs animates a reference frame with a motion prompt. Wan 2.2 A14B and Wan 2.7 are available in the studio. Wan 2.7 also supports source video continuation and optional audio.
You can open the studio app and look around without signing in. Generating spends monthly credits on a Starter, Creator, or Pro plan. Outputs save to your gallery so you can reuse them in other tools.

Start here when a still already has the look: a product hero, a character keyframe, or a text-to-image winner. Animating that frame usually preserves identity better than hoping a text-to-video prompt recreates it.
Wan 2.7 also supports end frames, continuation, and audio when you need more control than a single image push.

Motion that respects the frame
Ask for modest motion first: parallax, slow orbit, cloth sway, camera drift. Big action from a static product shot often warps the subject. If you need a hard cut to a new pose, generate a second key still and use it as an end frame where the model allows.
Keep the source sharp. Soft or tiny inputs make mushy video. Upscale a keeper still before you animate if the pixels are weak.
Practical tips
- Describe the camera move separately from the subject action.
- Avoid asking for new objects that are not in the still.
- For faces, smaller motion looks more natural.
- Preview the whole clip; mid-frame glitches hide in the first second.
Know before you spend
What breaks first
Hands, teeth, and fine patterns still fail more than large shapes. Text inside the image may shimmer. Extreme zooms invent detail that was never there.
Video jobs cost more credits than stills. Nail the still first.
